Articulated Arm

The main feature that distinguishes MD DARIO® bandsaws from other models is the ARTICULATED ARM (BS). Thanks to a swivel connection system, the arm allows the rotation of the machine in every direction, keeping fixed the pieces to work.

The arm BS makes easier the use of the machine: a great advantage for those who need to work big or long dimensions’ pieces, who can cut precise curves also in the most difficult realizations.

The articulated arm, applied to all MD DARIO® bandsaw models, can be fastened to a wall, a column or a mobile wagon.

According to the dimensions of the piece to work, it is possible to customize the length of the articulated arm.

BS VERSIONS ON SN/SV3 MEDIA MODELS

Two models are available, a standard one and an extended one:

• Standard arm BS: applied on most MD DARIO® bandsaws, it has an extension of 45 ⁴³/₆₄ ”.
  With this length it is possible to perform circular cuts with a radius of maximum 33 ⁵⁵/₆₄ ”.
• Extended arm BS-EX: this version is an extension of the standard one, to cut bigger dimensions. The extension can reach 165 cm, allowing to perform circular cuts with a maximum radius of 56 ¹⁹/₆₄ ”.

BS VERSIONS ON MAXI MODEL

Two models are available, a standard one and an extended one:

• Standard arm BS: applied on the MAXI bandsaw MD DARIO®, it has an extension of 190 cm, to perform circular cuts with a maximum radius of 62 ⁶³/₆₄ ”.
• Extended arm BS-EX: the extended version has a length of 90 ³⁵/₆₄ ”, to realize circular cuts with a maximum radius of 84 ⁴¹/₆₄ ”.
